A Question for Tommy the Scot

The things that pass for public discussion in the UK often surprise me.

That shouldn’t be possible, because I should update.

But, for example: “Vertical drinking.” Some bureaucrats have their lacy undergarments in a ravel over the fact that…people are standing up at pubs.

I’d think this should be useful, a fail-safe. You can ONLY buy a drink if you can still stand. But….well, someone might get hurt.
