People, the reduction of extreme poverty in China since Uncle Deng has truly been amazing and real. There’s no need to trivialize it by chart crime. And of course, there’s no reason for the CCP to be reporting zero people in extreme poverty either!
Never ever trust Chinese numbers, Chinese auditors, or Chinese statistics. I have 20 plus years working on due diligence assignments in China and with Chinese companies in the west.
